Royal Academy: Summer Exhibition 2025
Cocktails, fashion and art sounded like an irresistible combination. We were very happy to accept an invitation to enjoy all three at the Royal Academy recently.
For the last 250 years, the Royal Academy of Arts has held a Summer exhibition to promote the work of contemporary artists. This year over 1700 fabulous pieces have been selected by architect Farshid Moussavi RA and her committee.
Most are available to buy and the funds raised help support the exhibiting artists and the future of the RA which receives no government funding. There is something for everyone with some pieces available for less than £250.
Our favourite piece? The modern update on the famous work by Bruegel ‘The hunters in the snow’. Look closely and you will be see what we mean.
